Without a doubt, Tacoma is one of our best broodmares. A stifle injury at 3 left her permanently unsound but it hasn't prevented her from taking motherhood seriously and doing an excellent job at it. She consistently produces foals with exceptional conformation as well as movement. Her 2005 filly by Maestoso Platana received the first score of "10" for "Head & Neck" that Dr. Oulehla had ever awarded in America.  Tacoma's temperament is such that we frequently make her the first mare and foal combination that maiden mares with their new foals are turned out with. We can count on Tacoma not to hurt another mare's foal while at the same time she gives it a lesson in respecting those not their mother. She seems to produce equally well regardless of the stallion she's paired with. She is the dam of Pluto Tacoma (Pluto III Fantasca) - 84%, Tecumsa (Favory III Sabadilla) - 88.5% and Eroika (Maestoso Platana) - 87.5%.
