"Hank" is that special combination of conformation and charisma that only coalesces in a single individual but rarely. During the evaluation of 1999, the year of his birth, Hank received the highest score of any horse inspected - 87.5% - and we were understandably proud. We knew he was a nice colt and Dr. Oulehla confirmed our opinion in 2001 by awarding him a score of 90% - at the time the highest score ever given to any North American Lipizzan. So in 2003 we held our breath to see if our rising star could hang onto that exceptional score at his third and final inspection. Hang onto it he did and with the help of 5 scores of perfect "10", achieved the unheard of score of 93.5% and the comment from Dr. Oulehla, "He is the best in America." Hank combines the power and grace that artists such as DaVinci have have admired in the horse and sought to capture in stone and on canvas.
